Modernization of the workplace at MESIT machining, s.r.o.
The company MESIT machining, s.r.o. started the physical implementation of the project CZ.01.3.10/0.0/0.0/20_370/0026491 “Modernization of the workplace at MESIT machining, s.r.o.”.
The project will lead to the implementation of further measures leading to the improvement in energy performance of the operation of MESIT machinery, a.s. Specifically, it involves replacing the existing energy-intensive horizontal milling centre with a modern vertical milling centre.
The operation is supported by EU funding.
The implementation of the subsidy project in terms of fulfilling all the requirements of the subsidy provider (Ministry of Industry and Trade) is ensured by the company JVM – RPIC, spol. s r.o.

Modernization of finishing operations at MESIT foundry, a.s.
Project Registration Number: CZ.01.3.10/0.0/0.0/20_370/0026289
The main goal of the project is energy saving, i.e. reducing the energy intensity of production and technological processes. It is necessary to reduce the energy intensity of the company's production processes through modernization and acquisition of more energy-efficient production machines and technological equipment.
The subject of the project is the implementation of the following measures:
- Laser machine – the existing moving arm laser welding machine will be replaced with a new one. According to the manufacturer's data, the new device will be up to 50% more efficient when welding Al alloys with the same device input.
- Blasting chamber – the old three “Škoda Praha” blasting chambers will be replaced by 3 pressure blasting chambers. The new blasting chambers will work with minimal loss of compressed air – there will be a reduction of 80%. Furthermore, the new filtration will save 26.2 kW per hour, the compressor power will be saved by approx. 25%, i.e. 12.5 kW/hour. The amount of heat needed for space heating will be reduced by 22 kW because the air in the new chambers will be recovered through the HEPA filter.

Development of aerospace castings from aluminium alloy EN AC-AlSi7Mg0,6 with high internal quality and high mechanical properties
Project registration number: CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/16_083/0010297
Target of this project is to development and apply the casting technology of aluminium alloys with high internal quality and with finally high mechanical properties for exremely demanding customers from aerospace industry. Secondary targets of the project are decrease of material and energy intensity with increase of functional characteristics of a product by using progressive technology and impovement of funcional characteristics of material, which have potencial to be used in more industries beside aerospace.
Output of the project will be verified technology.
For the project is provided financial support of European Union.
